In a remarkable collaboration, Ecstasy Foundation and Lions Club of Salem Cosmos joined forces to orchestrate a truly historic event in Salem. The occasion brought together individuals from diverse backgrounds to achieve a monumental feat – forming the world's largest human Indian currency symbol.
Uniting for a Guinness Record Attempt
On a memorable day, school and college students, volunteers from various organizations, and individuals from all walks of life converged at the Periyar University playground. Clad in pristine white attire and donning paper caps, a staggering 22,356 participants came together on January 26, 2015, to shape the iconic Indian currency symbol.
A Symbolic Gesture of Unity
The event transcended boundaries, symbolizing unity and solidarity among the community members. Each participant played a vital role in creating a mesmerizing visual representation of the Indian currency symbol.
Breaking Records, Making History
The collective effort didn't go unnoticed. The event not only achieved a new record but also earned accolades from prestigious record-keeping entities. The accomplishment was officially recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records, Asia Book of Records, India Book of Records, and the Tamil Nadu Book of Records.
